Cap Chap

Colbert GTI x Balou Du Rouet

Brings show jumper breeding to the point

Cap Chap was licensed under the first Oldenburg spring licensing and honored as the best jumping stallion. His free jumping was always accompanied by an enthusiastic applause from the audience both during the pre-selection and the grading. Ability, caution, agility and courage are hard to beat and make Cap Chap to a real exception. Particularly striking was still that Cap Chap is also needed in terms of basic gaits and rideability, both free and under saddle the tab to hide from the dressage stallions in any way.

All promised in the licensing expectations fulfilled Cap Chap little later with his 70-day test in Schlieckau . In the training notes he got for jumping ability and terrain, the 9; gallop, character , motivation and constitution were valued at 8.5. Overall, was the emphasis on jumping final mark 8.59, the weighted final mark 8.11 .

Cap Chaps father Colbert GTI carries valuable Holsteiner jumping blood. Colbert GTIs father Cantus Caletto I is for example also father of the famous Olympic and World Championship horse Calvaro under Willi Melliger . With Calido Cantus could represent one of the foundation sires of the Holsteiner jumping horse breeding. Colbert GTIs mother father Calato by Capitol - Landgraf I was successful at the Federal Championships , and then in Nations for Denmark. As a sire Calato brought , for example, European champion and Olympic horse Cöster or the internationally successful show jumpers Clausen (Holger Wulschner) Graziana (Toni Haßmann) Callistro (Janne Frederike Meyer), Cactus L (Emma Emanuelson, SWE) , Corinessa (Hobert Bourdy, FRA).

Colbert GTI itself was as a young horse winning a series of tests for young jumpers . Standout here was the victory as a 5- year-old with a score of 9.8 at the European Challenge Cup at the International Pentecost Tournament in Wiesbaden Castle Park and the score of 9.8 in the final of the 6- year-old jumping horses at the Federal Championships in Warendorf. After that, he was extremely successful both nationally and internationally with numerous wins and placings in jumping and Grand Prix . Colbert GTIs lifetime earnings of over 40,000 euros.

Cap Chaps mother Bagheera is a daughter of Balou Du Rouet and brings with Lancer III also best international jumping blood with her. Balou Du Rouet units with Baloubet Du Rouet and Contender best French jumping genes with the exceptional Holsteiner sire Contender. Balou Du Rouet, even successful at an early age made ??a name in the final of the Federal Championships and now in placed in jumper classes S, is famouus as an absolute jumping stallion and stallion father. Also Lancer III was, as well as his licensed full brothers Lancer I and II, both sporty and highly successful in breeding.

Particularly noteworthy is Cap Chaps third mother, the half- blood mare Chanel, Calypso II - xx Athenagoras. With three different riders (Toni Haßmann, Luciana Diniz and Andreas Knippling) she was able to celebrate international successes in 1.60 m level. A full brother of Chanel, Calypso Star, is also victorious in dressage up to Grand Prix.

Cap Chaps motherline leads into a pure thoroughbred strain , which makes it a breeding thoroughbred share of over 40 % especially valuable.
